The Alley, the popular Bubble Tea chain with origins from Taiwan, is opening in Hamilton’s Westdale Village this week! For their grand opening this Saturday November 16th and Sunday November 17th, The Alley will be offering 100 drinks free at 3pm – both days As a tea girl, I’m also pleased to see that they start each tea-based drink out with the highest quality tea leaves they can get, with bases like Assam, Iron Goddess Oolong, and their Royal No 9; a black tea with blueberry infusion. Some of their most popular drinks include their Instagram-friendly Northern Lights and Morning Dawn, their Brown Sugar Deerioca, and their classic Royal No 9 Milk Tea.
The new Saha Dinners (The At-Home Dinner Series based out of Hamilton) is the best of both worlds. Once there, you will be treated to a candlelit dinner service at an elegant emerald-themed table, courtesy of Chef Khalil Omar and his wife. Chef Khalil got his start cooking in Ottawa, at his father’s Middle Eastern Restaurant The Saha Dinners experience includes a tasting menu of either 3 or 5 courses (depending on the option you choose) of cuisine from the Levant and Eastern Mediterranean peninsula; fine-dining style.
