I recently found myself on orange duty for Lacey’s netball team. I don’t know if that’s something that’s done around the world, but for those not in the know – orange duty is simply bringing orange quarters to a game for players to eat during half time. Now, I had no idea how many oranges one needs to have for orange duty, so I just assumed two BIG bags of oranges might be enough. Oranges are in season now, so it’s a great opportunity to use them in this delicious cake recipe.
The BEST carrot cake recipe ever Brought to you by Just Veg. Guys, I am obsessed with this carrot cake. This past week my house has been filled with carrot cake as I’ve tried to perfect this recipe, and I’ve finally nailed it. The batter should be moist {a good carrot cake is made with vegetable oil, not butter} and then each mouthful should offer a different texture. They’re a powerhouse of women who are passionate about reducing waste, and making our lives easier and healthier with the convenience of carrots sticks and carrot shred.
One thing that you might not know, Disneyland Resort is made up of two parks, Disneyland and California Adventure Park, so I’ve split my list into two depending on which park you’re at. You’ll find food carts around the park with treats like Mickey-shaped pretzels, but my favourite is the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe where you can get delicious treats. This is Shane’s favourite ride, and he’ll often disappear and I know he’s on this ride. This is my favourite ride at California Adventure Park, and I insist that you ride it!
