This easy recipe for Whole30 honey mustard tastes JUST like honey mustard dressing or dip but contains no honey at all! Instead, it’s made with a date paste to naturally sweeten it up to use on chicken, veggies or as a salad dressing that’s compliant on a Whole30 reset. None Add the soaked dates to a high speed blender along with the avocado oil, mayo, Dijon mustard and coarse grain mustard. The best dates to use are medjool dates.
It’s like a reverse taco that is packed with low carb ingredients and has a crispy crust that is similar to Bisquick or pie crust, but it’s not at all! Sauté ground beef in with the vegetables for 5-8 minutes or until beef is cooked through and no longer pink. None Place your ground beef mixture in a pie pan or 8×8 baking dish and press the mixture down until it’s flat. None Pour the egg, cheese and almond flour crust on top using a spoon or rubber spatula to spread evenly over the ground beef mixture.
While traditional stuffed peppers are made with beef and rice, these bell peppers are stuffed with a delicious shredded buffalo chicken that has a great spicy kick and coolness from the ranch seasoning. I like using green because they are inexpensive and can be found anywhere but feel free to use yellow, orange, red or a combination of all colors. • make your own shredded chicken easily, or you can use canned chicken breast or shred it from a store bought rotisserie chicken. You can use a packet of store bought ranch seasoning or make your own ranch seasoning to keep it Whole30. None To the bowl, add shredded chicken breast, mayo, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, salt and ground pepper.
When you’re doing a Whole30 reset you can use applesauce in homemade condiments like homemade BBQ sauce and homemade ketchup. None Add apples to a medium or large sauce pot along with 1/3 cup water. None Cover and cook over medium heat until it simmers, then reduce heat to low / medium-low and continue cooking until the apples are tender for about about 15-20 minutes. Apples and water are the only ingredients you’ll need to make this recipe, however feel free to add these flavor variations.
Crispy Roasted Sweet Potatoes __ We must be living in some strange times if one of my most popular recipes on the blog right now is one that usually does well at the end of the year. __ Nonetheless, sweet potatoes are something I eat year round and I make this easy dish often that looks fancy but is really simple! __ Check out the recipe using the link in my profile.
Ground Beef Breakfast Sausage __ This week I experimented with using ground beef to make some homemade breakfast sausage and I loved it! __ Making your own sausage allows you to control the ingredients and allows you to use whatever ground meat you enjoy. __ This sausage is paleo, Whole30 and friendly with Keto ways of eating. __ Check out this simple recipe linked in profile!
A dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp knife. Why? 🔪 ___ Cutting with a dull blade requires you to put more pressure on the knife increasing the chances it’ll slip or skip and could cause some painful kitchen warrior wounds. 🏥 ___ Sharpening your knives is an important maintenance task in a home kitchen and many don’t do it. And no that long metal stick in your knife block is actually not a sharpener! It’s a honing tool that realigns the edge AFTER its been sharpened. 💡 __ I cook A LOT and even more so now with restaurants being closed. I sent my most used knives off to knifeaid to get them professionally sharpened. They sent a box with prepaid shipping, I packed up knives safely and they got sent back good as new! __ If you want to improve your home chef game and keep things safe, check out Knife Aid and use THYMEANDJOY10 to get $10 off any sharpening package. 📦 *not sponsored* __ When was the last time you sharpened your knives?
Today I went grocery shopping and was surprised to see so much still out of stock. I thought the panic buying was over! Then I realized that it’s because people are eating out SO MUCH LESS. __ On one hand I love that people are being resourceful, cooking at home and learning new things. On another, my heart aches for the restaurant and hospitality industry. __ We try to get a meal out and support local at least once a week. Any suggestions for the type of food for this week? __ Where have you been getting takeout? __ This shrimp Florentine over spaghetti squash was made by my mother in law who is staying with us for a while. Even she’s on the cook at home bandwagon!
𝟮𝟭 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 __ It feels like a strange time to post this, but I’ve gotten a couple questions most days about my experience, so here goes! __ My primary reason for doing this was NOT weight loss. It was to remineralize, heal and bring down inflammation postpartum. __ This experiment has made me come so far in those goals and since I’ve done this I’ve been able to maintain the benefits (including the weight loss) by eating this way 70-80% of the time. This is still a long journey and the reset was beneficial even with all the emotional eating triggers that come up while were dealing with the world right now. __ My full experience is in the blog post linked in my profile. I’m not a doctor, but let me know if you have any questions about my experience that I haven’t addressed. __ I’ve also tagged the IG accounts of those I’ve followed that educated and inspired me along the way. __ grassfedgirl ketogenicgirl carnivore.yogi carnivore_bitch mariaemmerich carnivorecast carnivoremd lonestarketogirl shawnbaker1967 mikhailapeterson ketocarnivoreashley nutritionwithjudy lauraespath kelly_hogan91
#whatsfordinner __ Again, #foodboardfriday is not the menu this week but I decided to take out the ole’ turkey fryer and make some Old Bay chicken wings. __ Swipe for details ➡️ __ Defrost chicken wings in fridge overnight. Pat them completely dry. Toss in Old Bay. Heat oil (we used peanut) to 350. Cook for 8 minutes. Remove and toss with a little more seasoning. Stuff yourself silly with wings. __ I made 10lbs and am going to crisp up the leftovers in the air fryer to make them good as new tomorrow. __ What are you cooking this weekend?
Before I had James, I planned to share SO much about my motherhood journey. Turns out, it’s a bad idea for me personally. __ Motherhood is SO personal. Everyone has a completely different baby and *most* people think they are right when it comes to what to do and how to raise a child. Those are 2 ingredients I don’t like cooking together. __ This uncharted territory for me has made me learn to lean into my own voice and reasoning when it comes to this intimate role. I’ll never know if what I’m doing is right or ok which is hard for this type A girl. __ And it’s surely kept me off of social media as much as I was before which leads to stunted growth, inconsistency and often an off-brand sense of direction. My business is hanging on by a thread most of the time. __ Sometimes pieces of your life need to take a backseat to things that matter more. I wouldn’t trade the last 7 months for any amount of followers or “influence”. Spending most of my time with this cheeky dude is on the front burner for now and I’ll never regret that looking back!

I'm finding it's more the ladies these days which is awesome! __ Recipe Link In Profile
