Florence, the city renowned for water pastel colours, narrow streets and breathtaking architecture contributed to our experience in Tuscany. Of the many experiences we cherished, admiring the magnificent Florence Cathedral, frolicking through the Boboli Gardens, and living like a local by sitting at an Italian café and searching for the best gelato in town were amongst the most memorable. Only a 1.5hr drive from Brisbane, the Noosa National Park walk is the best way to experience the nature or ‘biosphere’ of Australia’s Coastline. From the eternal city to the city of romance, Paris has made it onto our list for its pure charm and romantic feel.

When you stay at the beach you want to try and get the best views but also a comfortable stay. If you are someone who is flying internationally or interstate into Queensland we recommend you hire a car as Australia is vast and is best explored by car. A lot of the best things to do require you to drive to them so make sure you are prepared to explore this region like a true Aussie.

Even in the cooler seasons, Lake Maroon can be uncomfortably hot during the middle of the day so we highly suggest organising a rainforest walk or hike during this time. This can range from 30 minutes to Mount Barney National Park, to 1 hour to Main Range. We have visited a number of National Parks in the Scenic Rim including Mount Tamborine, Lamington National Park and Main Range. Some for the less experienced hikers and families, including the Lower and Upper Portals; and some for the more experienced hikers, including Mount Maroon and Mount Barney.

One of the top holiday destinations in the Sunshine Coast region of Australia is Noosa. As you walk up the stairs that snake the side of Noosa Heads you need to make sure you take time to turn around check out the views of the beach. Sunshine Beach is one of the best spots for this as its a lot quieter then Noosa Main Beach and the stretch of beach is massive. There is a buzzing food scene in Noosa with plenty of tasty and delicious food.
