Hi there! My name is Mia Phillimeano. I am currently 21 years old and I am a dog mom of three precious babies! They are like my children, therefore, they are my inspiration to work smart and get us to a place in life that can be enjoyable and worth living every single day. I have spent the last two and a half years working as a licensed cosmetologist on the East coast of NC. Doing hair has been one of my main passions even before I attended college. The very last job I had doing hair, I worked for myself for 8 months. From then on, I knew I was meant to be an entrepreneur. I love working for myself with full responsibility and independence. During those last few months, I found a new appreciation for social media marketing and brand partnerships. My new goal for 2022 is to continue growing my social media, specifically Instagram, and working with brands to share what they have to offer to my audience!

♡It's the international day of celebrating women a tad bit more than usual. I can say I'm proud to be a woman because we go through a lot as females, and it's a rollercoaster, but we are STRONG. ♡We are born to bleed every month and go through pain and mood swings simultaneously. Ladyparts are already complicated enough. ♡We feel the need to put on makeup and wear certain clothing to attract a potential partner. ♡We get older and realize that our bodies are being oversexualized, and it's "normal" and "men will be men." Although some women can be that way as well. We end up scared to go out in public alone because sex trafficking exists, and it can happen to anyone at any time. ♡People are very uncomfortable with breastfeeding in public when the reason we have boobs in the first place is to feed babies! ♡Some of us dream of having kids but are scared for them to grow up in the world we live in today. ♡Our emotions and occasional sensitivities are thought of in a negative way. We're "dramatic" "crazy" and "high maintenance." ♡Just like men, we have insecurities about the way we look, but we may have more. We alter our body shape to feel more approachable or even to just feel more confident for ourselves. We are told to shave our entire body because the hair we were born to grow is "gross" when it's on a woman. We should be able to do what we want with our bodies. ♡Little girls get "girl toys" that are "girl colors." Little girls get clothes that say "diva" "princess" and "spoiled." Every girl is different, and some like trucks, dirt, and even other girls. ♡Today, I am appreciating all women of different colors, cultures, and sexual orientations.
