Today’s mission is to detail dust in the Dining Room. If you have a lot of things displayed in your Dining Room, this is a good time to make some decisions on putting some of the items away for a while. China cabinets look nice in the Dining Room, but when they are completely filled with decorative items, china, and glassware, it’s hard to enjoy looking at the pieces. Today’s Zone Mission is to detail dust in the Dining Room.
I don’t want you to spend more than 15 minutes in this area today. If your family members have left a lot of things in this area, use a box to collect the items. We are in a season of life where one son packs his lunch, so he needed a place for his lunch box. Your Home Blessing for today is to toss paper and magazines.
If you have a Dining Room and don’t use it often, it likely has clutter in it. Dining Rooms are wonderful and look great when you keep them clutter free and use them, even if it is only occasional use. My family enjoys it when I fix a special meal and use the good china. My house does not have a specific Dining Room, but I can set up my kitchen table with nice tablecloth and my good china.
So this week, I can spend a few minutes each day doing something to finish it up. It is so freeing to break up a big project into small steps. I help you each day by breaking down your zone mission for the day and your home blessing for the day. Since it’s Plan and Play Day, take a few minutes to do some of your planning (menu, budget, etc.), and then do something you enjoy.
