The A.M. Reign: The Alberto "Alpo" Martinez Story. Po Mafia's mission is to keep the legacy alive of popular street, Hip Hop & fashion Icon, Alberto Geddis Martinez (aka "Alpo"). Our site and social media pages provide an "outlet" for his fanbase (and some of his haters, too). The creator of Po Mafia, Cherry, emphasizes the need to #changethenarrative. Alberto was locally known for being a member of a b-boy crew and for his criminal activities to support his family. His popularity grew beyond the "hood" after becoming known as a high-level, drug kingpin in the 80's and having a movie based off his crew's life (Paid In Full). He was later arrested for the crimes he committed and was facing the death penalty. After having his family threatened with imprisonment, he decided to cooperate. He received a reduced sentence and servered well over 20 years in prison. It also earned him the unfortunate title of "snitch". Since his arrest and subsequent release, HOWEVER, his name is still "buzzing" all over the net! There are plenty of misconceptions about his story, and Po Mafia is here to remind the world of what he was really known for. His influence is felt and heard in the countless Hip Hop songs written about him (search any streaming service) and in the numerous photos of people rocking styles similar to his (achieved with Dapper Dan and that infamous coat made with Louis Vuitton material). Thousands of people search his name TO THIS VERY DAY. A fact that can be easily proven on Google (check the numbers) and in the numerous media outlets (blogs/vlogs and online magazines) that use his name frequently! His name brings "clicks" and Po Mafia brings a "twist" that has not been done before on this subject. We got innovation (technology), creativity (Po Mafia creator, Cherry) and a profitable market available (Alpo fans). Let's build mutually beneficial campaigns! We're ready to work. Are you?
