I know it may not look or feel like it out there at the moment but it is actually April which means it's time to change our focus to all things Spring!! One of the first Spring "things" that gets me looking forward to the season ahead is footwear. While I'm not willing to shed my (all black) layers until it hits at least 22° degrees, I will start to swap out my booties for loafers, mules and yes even sandals once we get into those double-digit temperatures

Or that locally, a lack of proper footwear can stop a child from participating in activities or prevent someone from getting a new start in life. From Saturday, April 13 to Sunday, May 12 Coquitlam Centre and Ruben's Shoes Society will be collecting gently used women's, men's and children's shoes to give a global child the opportunity for an education or a local family a new start
