For Protein on the Go: Wild Zora Bar Review and Giveaway

There are a few “meat bar” brands available and I’ve probably tried them all, but Wild Zora is the only one I’ve found that tastes amazing and is packed with vegetables like kale, tomato, celery, and basil. I think Wild Zora’s curry flavor is genius, because that should take care of the lack of flavor I’ve experienced with other brands. Lamb still isn’t my favorite meat (I think I’m just a little intimidated by it), but Mediterranean spices sound good. flavor options have no milk, except the Parmesan Beef -Real food snack option that’s different than all the fruit and nut bars out there (these are meat and veggie bars! )

Self-Care Sunday Series with Honeydipped

Because this time of year can be hectic, I thought we could all use some extra self-care tips from another blogger, to help us get through December. It’s funny to think of self-care every day since my time seems to be dominated by my responsibilities. Since my passion lies in creating natural products, most of my self-care routines involve my recipes. Again most of my recipes and self-care practices are short and concise since I, like most people, have limited time.

Osso Good Bone Broth for Immune, Digestive, and Energy Support

There’s a range of broth options, from the simple Chicken Bone Broth (made with chicken wings, backs, and feet, and infused with organic vegetables like onions, carrots, tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms, and parsley) to the more complex Revive the Gut (made with AIP Beef Bone Broth, and Chinese healing herbs like Huang Qi Zhi, Dang Shen, Fu Ling, Chen Pi, Shan Zha, Bai Bian Dou, Da Zao, and Hua Jiao). It also means you’re reaping all the health benefits and nutrients, and what’s the point of drinking bone broth if you can’t experience the healing bone, skin, digestive, and immune bonuses? When I make bone broth at home, I know I’ve added the proper bones-to-liquid ratio when the broth actually wiggles like jello once it’s cooled, rather than staying liquified like water. To get gelling bone broth, like Osso Good’s (or homemade), you need a large amount of collage-rich bones, like feet, knuckles, or tendons, and a longer cook time.

Self-Care Sunday Series with She Runs on Greens

I practice self-care because I know that I couldn’t do all of the things that I want to do, or be the person that I want to be (as a business owner, friend, daughter, mother, or wife) if I didn’t take care of myself. The first two ways of practicing self-care don’t require extra time, but still make me feel good, which is great for me as a new Mom. I love finding quick ways to incorporate self-care into my daily routine, so I have lots of short self-care techniques! My three favorite longer self-care practices are (1) going for a long run or a long hike, (2) taking a hot yoga class, and (3) going for a massage (a splurge, but one that I love! ).
