Recently, I realized I was going into my closet every day and picking out an all black or all navy outfit, throwing on a statement necklace and heading out the door. Thanks to amazing women like Karen, I decided to step my spring style up a notch. She’s awesome at talking through her thought process and is a big advocate of tweaking outfits already in your closet. I can say I’ve picked up a few pieces to infuse some color and am making them work in so many different ways.

It’s worth a read if you’ve read all the other John Green books and are looking for something along the same vein. I guess it’s technically classified as self-help, but the way Jen tells it, you just feel like you’re talking to a really interesting friend who just happens to be very encouraging. I don’t always pick up gold every time I decide to read a book, but it’s still important to discuss what I’m reading. I’ve read the first Giver so long ago, I couldn’t remember the plot, but I wasn’t lost at all in this novel from the series.

But don’t take my criticisms too seriously, because just because it didn’t work for me, doesn’t mean it won’t for you. Some days it would look amazing, and other days it didn’t. However, after finishing my second tube I realized that while it is moisturizing, I don’t think it really does anything amazing for my skin or the longevity of my makeup. About a year ago I got the Lorac Pro 2 and realized the formula just wasn’t for me.
