Djerba is an island where there is not much to do aside from spending time on the beach, swimming in the pool and enjoying daily activities that hotels organize. It felt so good to finally have time to finish the book I was reading, relax in the morning and not worry about social media. Lucky for me, my boyfriend is a native Arabic speaker and we were able to get some information from our hotel lobby on places to find late night restaurants where we ended up discovering the best-grilled meat and fish I have ever tasted. We also took the time to go to Djerbahood, a small neighborhood in the center of the island where the architecture was picture perfect.
I know it’s everyone’s goal in a way to be sent free products in exchange for their thoughts on it when they launch their website, but I honestly don’t always agree if I feel like it won’t be the right fit for you guys. I do not see the point of collaborating with a brand you already know you wouldn’t try on your own but with Mahi Leather, I was hooked. Their products range from travel bag, totes to leather accessories and the quality is amazing. Make sure to check it out, their products are truly amazing quality.
So the brand itself specializes in all things aloe, which is great not only for your skin but for your metabolism and overall health. I tried the products out for a whole week, switching my night routine to the Infinite hydrating cleanser, restoring cream and firming serum so I got to really try the whole experience and give my skin a much needed high dose of hydration. Overall, I would recommend products from the Infinite by Forever range, especially with the summer months coming along.
I know there are so many things to discover in the city of love but, not having so much time to wonder about, I often end up just taking a walk in my neighborhood. I am very lucky to have found an apartment just 10 minutes from Montmartre, which has quickly become my favorite area of the city. With the weather being so nice lately, despite the occasional thunderstorm, taking even just a quick afternoon walk in that area is very relaxing. If you ever have the chance to visit Paris, I strongly suggest taking a walk in the streets of Montmartre.
