First, I surrounded myself with positive people; positive talk and I didn’t listen to the negative stories. Positive people are those people who pour into your life instead of those people who constantly take from you. I had a positive note on my bathroom mirror and a positive note in my car. I was given a 56% chance to live 5 years and well the doctors didn’t even speak about anything beyond 5 years. I received that diagnosis, over the phone, 10 years ago today and HE has been with me every day. He will be with you when you feel you can’t face another day. He will be with you as you lay on the radiation table just praying they don’t radiate your eyes or brain due to a malfunction.
