Planning, Design and Coordination by Katie Foulds of Kirkbrides and Matt’s classic, natural wedding at The Country Club was more than a wedding – I loved all of the green touches from the gorgeous stationery down to the sugar cookies in the dessert hallway - a subtle nod to the Bride and Groom's alma mater, Michigan State. The Bride loves Christmas, so we brought a little holiday cheer to the August evening with Christmas ornaments that each guest signed for the Bride and Groom’s first Christmas Tree. Barrio Taco Truck arrived as the evening was winding down so guests could have one last bite before sending the Bride and Groom off with sparklers.

I worked with the mother of the groom, Deb, who wanted to create a special and fun evening for her son on the eve of his wedding to Kat! One of the other Kirkbrides planners, Katie, was handling the coordination of their wedding day at Spice Acres , so I took on the planning of the dinner since the setup would happen simultaneously while Katie was managing their ceremony rehearsal. We started with one inspiration picture and elaborated from there with Twig Floral creating these beautiful floral arrangements and Lovely Somethings really putting the finishing touches on with this custom stationery
