Virtual reality

It felt like reality couldn’t make me feel such intense things in such a short amount of time. While in the virtual world, you could choose to be anyone you want, create your own avatar, build an entirely new life, new group of virtual friends It’s also quite intriguing in a way as life itself, has such a random factor, you never really know what you’re gonna get, but with technology there’s a guarantee that comes along making it at terribly tempting experience… I had this idea of a nightclub where people can go to meet mysterious creatures in virtual reality and so the whole idea started like that.

Clockwork

I felt like I was just writing to myself and clicking on the publish button didn’t feel like much. I don’t need no extravaganza and if anything I don’t want my life’s success to be determined by how rich or famous I am. From the outside it looked like I had it all, magazine covers, expensive clothes, trips, but I felt so sad and alone inside, I felt like people were celebrating me for a bubbly character I was making lots of efforts to maintain, I felt like I had my ass stuck in between two chairs, one where I felt like a brat for being so miserable and hating doing what brought me money, opportunities, success, made an audience connect with me, and the other ass half just me not being able to handle what my life evolved around.

May 2018 bring you all you wish for, and may your wishes be filled with good, and may your good be whole and come from the right place : from your heart and not your brain, or your ego. Because if your dream is to be a baker and open your pastry shop and make the best damn bread in your whole country, while your family wants you to be a lawyer and defines success and achievement by a law degree and stable income, then I define success someone who chooses his passion instead. It’s just a matter of what you are ready to do to emancipate yourself from your prisons, are you ready for the struggle, are you ready to start from the bottom again, are you ready to justify yourself constantly, explain yourself incessantly, are you ready for the looks of those who don’t understand, the looks of those who don’t agree, are you ready for incessant sleepless nights, are you ready to meet your truest self? Don’t ever think it’s childish to dream, don’t ever think that you loving to paint when you were 8 was just a kid’s little thingy, re-connect with your inner child, because that was the time when you were probably the most honest with yourself, when there was no boss, no society, no system to tell you what is right, what is wrong, what to say, who to be, how to dress, how to think, how to live.

Notte

A few days ago, I had the pleasure to travel to Milan with the Revolve team for a short getaway filled with beautiful visits of the city, lots of pasta eating, wine drinking (probably too much in fact) and endless night time conversations… Of course it comes with it’s various facets and many people mock the Italian “farniente” culture which consists of enjoying a bit too much instead working. In this new editorial shot at the hotel Principe Di Savoia, known for it’s traditional interior design, with lots of gold ornaments and marble stairways, you’ll be able to discover a few looks I selected from Revolve’s current collections. The other look consists of a little black dress from NBD paired with some black knee high vynil boots from Raye and a leopard print coat from the House of Harlow x Revolve collection.
