Well, hi there! I'm Kathleen. On Hapa Nom Nom, food is a kind of connection. It’s a new take on fusion, and a deliciously modern way to think about food.
This is a fantastic weeknight meal – start to finish you can have this baby on the table in about 20 – 25 minutes! The meatballs are so perfectly moist and packed with so much flavor, you may be in danger of finishing them off before they even make it into the sandwich! If you’ve been following this blog for awhile, you may have noticed that I have a wee bit of a bánh mì obsession. It started out harmless enough, spending nearly every lunch hour at the local bánh mì shop, then graduating to making my own Lemongrass Pork Bánh Mì to feed my habit at home, then experimenting with variations of the bánh mì for a greater high – making a Breakfast Bánh Mì and then Bánh Mì Hot Dogs
Enter the home cook who loves ramen, who wants to make his or her own ramen, but doesn’t want to spend all day making it. If however, you’re dying for those classic noodles, feel free to use instant ramen or Chinese egg noodles, cooked according to the package directions. Sesame paste made from toasted sesame seeds has a more robust flavor so you'll want to use that for this dish.

When the pot of glogg is warming on the stove, make sure the contents do not boil – boiling will quickly dissipate the alcohol. A Scandinavian drink that warms the soul on cold winter nights, it's perfect this holiday season!
Simple ingredients and totally delicious – this custard-like Christmas Breakfast Oven Cheese Fondue can be assembled the night before and baked while you’re opening gifts. Oven Cheese Fondue has been described as the ‘poor man’s fondue’ – what you would make when you don’t have a lot for dipping and you need to make the ingredients you have stretch. I believe my mom adapted this recipe from her old 1970’s Betty Crocker book, but I can’t be certain as she no longer has a copy. Simple ingredients, quickly assembled, and totally delicious – this oven cheese fondue makes a fantastic breakfast not just on Christmas morning, but it also makes for a show-stopper of a dish for any breakfast or brunch throughout the year!
