Just a girl who loves travel, writing, the underwater world and adventurous eats. I hope you'll follow my adventures and feel inspired to create your own!
Have you ever read that book about someone who travelled, didn’t love it or learn anything, didn’t make money and came home to a 9-5? I attended a normal school, didn’t travel outside of the UK until I was a teenager, had no trust fund or financial help, and worked from the age of 15 doing everything from waitressing to retail, bar work and even flipping burgers during one dubious summer job. A lot of people say you shouldn’t quit your 9-5 until you’ve fully replaced your income streams. To sum up, I quit my job to travel three years ago and it’s still a work in progress.
Access to Poppit Sands and the coastal path is free but there’s a charge for parking in Poppit village car park. As well as plenty of things to do in St. David’s, it’s also a perfect base to explore this area of Wales with boat tours and sweeping scenery. There’s only one car park, halfway around a mile-long circular loop, so it’s best to arrive early on While it’s not possible to visit with your own car, it’s still a must for your Wales road trip
If you’re planning a visit to Austria’s capital, let me share my Vienna 3 day itinerary to help you make the most of your trip. Vienna Mozart Concert (€55) Vienna PASS for free entry to attractions & skip-the-line access (€69) Evening dinner cruise (€59) Vienna through the eyes of a refugee tour (€16) Taste of Vienna food and culture tour (€63) The website will tell you about Schönbrunn Palace ticket options but we took the Schönbrunn Classic Pass for €29.50 which included an audio guide tour around the Grand Palace, Privy Garden, Maze & Labyrinth, Orangery Garden and Gloriette building looking out over Vienna. It’s a unique piece of architecture definitely worth adding to your Vienna 3 day itinerary simply to compare it with the classic palaces you’ve seen so far!
Cassie On Solo Travel As An Introvert & Managing Mental Health Hello and welcome to my first solo female traveller interview, a series I hope to continue to spotlight solo travellers, their adventures, trials, tribulations, learnings and blogs! This week, I’m talking to Cassie, a solo female traveller currently living and working in New Zealand. This is always a hard question to answer since my life looks so different these days to what I was initially used to, but the short answer is that at 27, I sold all my stuff and took a one-way flight to Tokyo. I now understand I’m burnt out about 50% of the time on the road, which means to enjoy travelling I need a LOT of rest days.
