While the temperatures are still swinging back and forth, a few warm days have helped to kick start Spring solstice with a beautiful Cherry Blossom season in Washington, DC. Like everything in Mother Nature, their beauty if only fleeting – lasting only until the next strong wind or rain. I originally bought it to wear as a dress a wedding, I wore it last on the blog here in my recap of some of the summer best guest dresses to wear to weddings. I don’t often wear pink, but Cherry Blossom season is definitely my favorite reason to do so!

These Vince Camuto boots are always on repeat – mostly because they help to make any outfit stand out. I recommend pairing them within the same color scheme as the rest of our outfit to elongate your frame. I’m apparently having a moment with high-waisted everything. Just ordered another pair of high-waisted jeggings, but, until they arrive, I’ll keep wearing these from STS Blue.

Over the past year and a half, I’ve amassed an impressive collection of pleated skirts, and I’m not mad about it. I prefer to wear skirts over pants, in part, because it is a lot easier for me to find skirts that fit my frame than trousers/jeans. While I was disappointed that it wasn’t navy blue, I decided to keep it rather than return it since it pushed me outside of my normal color scheme. For the office, I’ve paired it with a black turtleneck and my go-to cap-toe heels.
