It’s a ton of work to sort the laundry before AND after when it’s clean. Yes, it’s messy, yes the clothes won’t be folded (see the next tip for more details), but if your kids are like mine they don’t stay neat and folded in the drawer anyway! Have Your Children Wash Their Own Clothes Once my kids enter 4th grade they begin to do their own laundry. When they help me out, it’s only with their laundry or the other Cowkids’ laundry.

Just this plot line alone was fascinating enough, but throw in Howard’s off and on battle with her eating disorder, and trust me when I say you’re not going to be able to put this book down. Howard’s book left me with a new perspective, and I encourage you to read it. Even though you know disaster is coming, it’s thrilling to see how Dunn brings it all together in a laugh out loud climax (pun intended) and then ends the book in a way that will leave you nodding with satisfaction. I’m not a shopping addict and my shopping has in no way forced us into any kind of debt, but I admit that I totally use shopping as my feel good “drug” of choice. We had two formal events to attend and I couldn’t buy anything new! My favorite author released a new book, and I hadn’t pre ordered it. This week I made a few purchases online and locally, a new dress that had been on my mind for weeks, and some desperately needed new bras.
