The conference started with the statement of the European Parliament’s Vice-President, David-Maria Sassoli, elected on the 1st of July 2014, who also is a journalist and italian politician, TV host of the 8pm news and vice president of TG1 on the italian channel Rai Uno. Many people were there, notably Klaus Welle, the European Parliament’s general secretary, who delivered a speech encouraging us to remain united and to pursue cooperation despite the difficult times we are going through ; Philippe Duren, Robert Schuman ’s nephew, one of the EU’s founding father, was also present and recited some lines from Schuman’s old speeches, a beautiful historical hommage. Consigliere Portavoce, Lorenzo Cesa, Centre Union’s leader and european deputy, or Gian Paolo Meneghini, director of the European Parliament’s Information Office Directeur in Italy were also there.

Similarly, a lot of people praise the importance of night routines, especially people who want to get to bed earlier or who want to lay out every thing they will need for the next day to avoid to dreadful morning rush. Having an afternoon routine is the opportunity to continue a successful morning right into the evening, so your entire day is actually supporting your best life choices. First of all, it is healthier for your body to eat at the same time every day, and secondly because I know I have the same amount of time available after finishing my lunch and before evening which makes things easier to plan for. Do some light stretching or yoga for 10 or 15 minutes, go for a short walk outside, or even do an intensive 10 minute workout if you are super motivated (you have a lot of videos on Youtube depending on whether you want to do arms, abs, legs, full body…).
