Coffee Bar: Milky’s

Milky’s is a relatively new coffee shop (or bar if you want to call it that). Upon entering, you may be in awe in the ceiling to floor wood detail

Eat: TORA

I’ve never been to Miku, a beloved Vancouver-based Japanese restaurant but I’ve heard that it’s good, but pricey; a place for special occasion or if you have a fat wallet for “just because” meal. They recently opened a sister restaurant, TORA at Yorkdale

Eat: Beer Batter Fish’ N Chips

Who knew there was a decent fish and chips spot near our home. Beer Batter Fish N’ Chips is located at the corner of Carlton and Ontario St

Eat: Café Bon Bon

Located in the Times Square plaza complex in Richmond Hill is Café Bon Bon, an Asian fusion cafe/eatery with Instagram-worthy aesthetics; it’s a pretty fancy looking place. It wasn’t our intended place to have lunch, but because it was snowing heavily that day, we decided to just eat somewhere closely and head home after. The Soufflé Pancakes are apparently made limited per day and to allow 20-30 minutes to prepare as it is made to order. They were light and airy with a nice eggy flavour, but it didn’t jiggle like Japanese soufflé pancakes would.
