It’s been 3 weeks since I embarked on this Project Use-It-Up (more frequently known in the beauty community as Project Pan) challenge. Here’s the progress I’ve made: The most obvious change from 2 weeks ago is that one product is GONE! The Wet n Wild eyeliner, like I said, isn’t going so great. There’s definitely a little bit of progress, but just looking at the pictures it seems like it’s practically the same as it was on day 1.
If you want to find some amazing cruelty-free makeup, I highly suggest you check out Dollar Tree! This time, I found a ton of Wet n Wild Fergie items in addition to some e.l.f. products. If I had paid full price for everything I bought, I would have spent $31.50… It definitely isn’t difficult to shop cruelty-free on a budget.
It took some time, but I’ve pretty much fallen in love with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I’ve never tried the famous Beauty Blender, but I don’t think I need to. For $6, this sponge makes applying foundation and concealer so effortless! Have you tried the Real Techniques sponge, or any similar Beauty Blender-like sponge?
As I’ve been working through my nail polish rotation, I feel like I’ve really narrowed down my true favorites. First, I LOVE the Wet n Wild Megalast nail polishes – every single one of them. Wet n Wild also carries a $0.99 line of polishes called their Wild Shine Nail Colors. I can definitely see myself wearing a fun nail look for July 4th with Red Red on one hand, Rain Check on the other, and this glitter on top or as an accent nail.
