I’ve been itching to get back to work on new updates for our home, so when Room & Board agreed to help us tackle our living room we were thrilled! Room & Board have a beautiful collection of modern recliners but due to the layout of our living room, we compromised with the Cade sofa with chaise lounger. We are completely obsessed and love the fact that we can now both lay down on each end of the sofa without interfering with one another :P. We kept our original Grove Coffee Table and Media Console – but lightened up the floor with the Safi Rug. Manchester is known as the “Gateway to Northern England” due to its location in the north of England, which makes it the perfect spot to start your adventures to places like the Lake District, York, Liverpool and even Northern Wales! The drive was pretty exciting for starters: the British drive on the “wrong side of the road,” meaning cars in the left-hand lane, and the driver on the right side of the car. Our first stop in the Lake District was to the beautiful Lingholm Estates where we enjoyed a picture perfect lunch at the Lingholm Kitchen and Walled Garden. The Lake District was a dream, I hope to someday return and spend some time hiking and camping in this area.
