Making Friends When You Homeschool

It’s also interesting to me to see how my children befriend kids without regard to their age, gender, or school affiliation. This idea works best for younger kids, since this is the age group targeted at most library story times. Even though we live in a small town, there is what I consider a large homeschool group (50 or so families). I’ve compiled a list of suggested books for each kid to read, and the goal is to read 3 of them this summer.

Just because my husband does something in a different way than I do, doesn’t mean that he’s doing it wrong. We’ve learned to let things go. Even if you’ve married your complete opposite like I have, you can still have a fabulous marriage!
