Redhorse’s team has identified, developed and helped execute energy efficiency and resiliency projects with $55 million in lifecycle energy cost savings. Projects include general facility energy improvements, HVAC and humidity improvements, innovative technologies such as solar-assisted HVAC, photovoltaic and solar thermal renewable energy systems, retro-commissioning, smart-grid, and light-emitting diode technologies. We identify and develop energy conservation measures into projects of all types, ranging from no-cost/low-cost measures to multi-million dollar projects. We conduct energy audits or coordinate audits by others in compliance with the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 and prepare an array of reports to include the annual energy reports, Defense Utility Energy Reporting System (DUERS) reports, and Air Force Energy Reporting System (AFERS) reports.

S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (CEHNC). Under this contract, Redhorse will provide energy engineering and data analytics in support of DoD through improved readiness and energy security, resilient energy and water infrastructure, reduction of carbon emissions to combat climate change and support national security, and dramatic cost savings to support tighter mission operations.
