Indianapolis + NYC Wedding & Event Planner/Designer
As an Indianapolis Wedding Planner, and an NYC Wedding Planner, we see lots of families come together to celebrate on wedding days. And, prior to the big day, are always part of the conversation when it comes to chatting about family photos
And, as an NYC Wedding Planner, it is our job to insure our couples are guided through the process with the most amount of knowledge possible to make the selections to make the day flawless! So, when hosting and planning an NYC Wedding, create multiple touch points in which you explain not only where the events are happening but exact directions in which to enter the buildings and facilities. And, if you have an NYC Wedding Planner, be sure to ask them to help guide guests throughout the day, as needed. In a city full of permit rules and regulations, be certain if you are using a street, park or other public place for any part of the day that you know the exact rules of the city.
No matter the reason, here are 3 Things to Remember When Planning and Indianapolis Wedding… Select a Date You Have Researched. Be sure to talk with your planner and venue about what city-wide events are occurring on the date you are considering for your wedding. Parking, traffic, hotel availability and more will be impacted in a way that might be extremely frustrating if you don’t plan ahead and select a date that makes sense. For instance, working with a local stationery studio to create all your paper pieces for the day or a local brewery for the beverages puts a fun Indy stamp on things.
We get it – there are some things you might want to just skip, forgo, nix on your wedding day. However, unless there are major allergies, please invest in a beautiful, real floral option for photos, to carry down the aisle and to make you feel beautiful. The cost is minimal, it alleviates tons of worry and if something did happen (out of your control) your thousands of dollars are protected in some manner. It is not always the most fun conversation or thought to have while planning, but I have seen it make a difference and am a believer that you should always cover all angles when lots of dollars are exchanged.
