Campbell-Sevey Territory Expansion for Armstrong International Products

Campbell-Sevey, has signed a representative agreement with Armstrong International, a global leader in industrial and institutional steam and utility systems, to expand into the Nebraska and Western Iowa territory. Existing Armstrong customers in Nebraska and Western Iowa can expect excellent service, energy system solutions and services. To continue efforts to provide our customers exceptional service and an enjoyable experience, as of October 26, 2020 we have expanded the Campbell-Sevey territory to include Central and Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. From our steam system seminars, to installation supervision, our expert, non-commissioned engineers, provide the highest level of service, training, and energy system solutions.

Standard health & safety measures in the workplace for Covid-19

Update – Campbell-Sevey is Open and Taking All Precautions COVID-19 We’re taking all appropriate precautions regarding sanitization, limiting all non-employee access to our warehouse and office. Campbell-Sevey is closely monitoring the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and our responses are informed by the most current guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC. At Campbell-Sevey additional safety measures including complete remote access for all sales, procurement and AP staff to safely work from home while we will continue to ship orders via UPS, FedEx, and Priority Courier as normal from our warehouse.

State-of-the-Art Steam Tracing

QMax FTS (Fluid Tracing System) combines performance comparable to jacketed pipe with the flexibility and low cost of standard steam tracing. FTS is a patented, highly conductive aluminum channel that fits over standard stainless or copper tubing to maximize heat transfer from the heating medium to the process pipe. It effectively increases process temperatures, yet is also energy efficient because it does not continue to add unnecessary heat energy into the process once operating temperatures are achieved. Compared to fully-jacketed pipe, which also has high performance but required a high capital investment, QMax is a highly efficient solution as a great value.

Condensate drainage role on atmospheric steam dispersion piping

For all Armstrong Humidifiers, such as the Armstrong HC-6000 series, EHU-800, CS-10 or GFH, the slope of the dispersion piping should be 1″ per 12″. If the condensate is not removed efficiently, condensate could build up creating a reduced cross section of pipe for the opposing steam to flow which can cause back pressure at the humidifier. Too much pressure on the outlet of the humidifier causes a pressure difference between the level control measurement canister and the main steam generation tank.
