How to Make Playdough Without Flour ⋆ Parenting Chaos

What if I told you that you could make playdough without flour, salt, oil, or cream of tartar? This simple flourless playdough recipe is one of my all time favorite and a complete game changer for making playdough at home! This quick playdough recipe is quickly becoming my go to when it comes to making homemade playdough. This playdough does not use cream of tartar or salt to help preserve it.

No Cook Gingerbread Playdough Recipe ⋆ Parenting Chaos

In a bowl mix together the lotion, glitter, food dye, gingerbread spice, and cooking oil. In a separate bowl mix together the rest of your dry ingredients – cream of tartar, salt, and flour. If you notice that your gingerbread playdough is too sticky stir in an additional 1/2 cup of flour at a time until it is no longer sticking. Then simply pull the gingerbread playdough out of the bowl, knead it a bit, and play!

Build a Turkey Play Dough Kit ⋆ Parenting Chaos

Every year for the holidays we bounce from house to house to make sure we get to spend the holidays with both sides of our family. One of the things that we routinely run into while visiting family is showing up at a family members house that is not kid friendly. Having 5 kids means we really needed to find an easy solution to this – something quick to throw together, easy to travel with, and something that wouldn’t make a huge mess while the kids played with it. From the red foam we cut out squiggly lines for the Turkey’s wattle.
