The Saint-Roch YMCA is pleased to partner with the City of Québec to continue offering tennis at Parc Victoria! The Saint-Roch YMCA recently took over the management of the Victoria Tennis Club and is excited to announce that Louis Lemieux has been recruited to coordinate the club's activities, in collaboration with the YMCA team and its volunteers. The new Saint-Roch YMCA is a community and sports centre now under construction and will be opening in the spring of 2020 on the former Charest Cinema site. This summer, the Saint-Roch YMCA, along with the Victoria Tennis Club, is pleased to increase its current offer of services that is available to the public through the community office located on Parvis Street.

In keeping with our mission of helping children, youth and families live healthy and active lives, the Y is proud to bring this physical literacy program to its summer camps and soon to its youth programming. Physical literacy is not only about increasing physical skills, but also about deepening children's confidence, motivation, understanding and knowledge so that they develop the desire to be physically active from an early age. It means exploring various basic movements through play and discussing the importance of adopting an active lifestyle.
