I’m not even going to bring the white chocolate version into the mix because I just don’t understand it. The dark chocolate took a while to get used to, and while they still aren’t my top choice I can appreciate them as a needed variety for the vast Cadbury audience. Some of the leftover candy that didn’t make it into baskets filled bowls on the table for the adults to eat, but eventually we started getting my mom her own bag of Cadbury mini eggs to snack on in the car, to spare our own candy bags. To this day, whenever I see Cadbury mini eggs, I associate them with my mom and Alex, and it makes me want them even more.

My love of mac and cheese grew to a new level in college when I tried the grown-up mac and cheese at a local cafe with a little bit of black pepper and the perfect orecchiette noodles that cradled all of the cheese sauce I don’t know if I associate it with spring because that’s when the Kentucky Derby is held, because it is when we would start to have picnic tea parties growing up, or just because spring is when people start getting together more for outdoor soirees and parties, but in my mind, pimento cheese is a springy food. 6 ounces smoked Gouda cheese, grated 4 ounces cheddar cheese, grated 2 ounces Parmesan cheese, freshly grated 1 tablespoon ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, plus more to taste ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste ¼ teaspoon salt, plus more to taste

We started out with a long-weekend road trip to Alabama to visit Will’s sister, celebrated Will’s birthday, anticipated Match Day, found out where we are moving for the next three years and celebrated with family, spent a girls weekend with friends, traveled to Charleston for a wedding, and watched a lot of basketball. – Match Day was so incredibly stressful, but it was amazing to be surrounded by family and fellow med students and to be able to relax at the end of the crazy day – Look for a place to live in our new home (if we are moving for residency) – looked online at a lot of places and are hoping to visit some in April – Do the mind mapping portion of the Designing Your Life workbook – Bring dinner to friends with a new baby April Goals: –
