As we walked into the Project: Fish Richmond hill location, one word came to mind: We LOVE sashimi so were definitely amazed by the delicate textures and taste of each piece. We also had Chirashi Tart which is layers of rice, spicy sashimi, avocado, project sauce topped with the featured sashimi. Fish is a beautiful venue for lunch or dinner with friends or even a great place to celebrate with family!
So Vith and I are always looking up lists to figure out our next adventure and thought we’d whip something together for people looking up Toronto cafés. It’s where Vith and I are both from and it will just always have a special place in our hearts. We love stopping by for a quick chat with the staff and grabbing a good cappuccino for our run or walk. We love checking out all their fancy little treats and also love the environment.
I’m sure you’ve heard of the café / bistro called La Prep before but let me tell you… they’ve changed. We visited the La Prep at 150 Commerce valley Drive. Whether it’s enjoying a hot cup of coffee alongside a nice salad or a delicious cookie with a smoothie! If you work in the Markham area, this is definitely a great option for lunch.
The restaurant is owned by a Tamil chef, so you KNOW the food is amazingly delicious. It’s perfect for large groups of people (just make reservations ahead of time). We started off with half a bottle of full bodied, red wine to drink since it was date night! Then we enjoyed the Pan seared Tiger Shrimp with Sea Scallops and Roasted rack of venison for mains.
