My soul, my inner self, my life, thirsts for God, the living God. I feel so free and it is as if God has washed over me in the water a spirit of grace, comfort, and joy. My soul thirsts for Thee, my flesh yearns for Thee in a dry and weary land where there is no water. For now, I live day by day , hour by hour – enjoying the taste of mango smoothies, floating in the water, and loving my friends and family.

I feel so still, like I can't move. hearted that I didn't get to play a part of planning anything for my daughter's wedding. As present as I have tried to be, I'm sitting here silent, staring at these flowers filled with emotions that I can't even put into words. The weather doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon, but I'm not afraid or moved.

I’m learning that the deeper you love,  the deeper the loss, the deeper the pain. , my pain is your pain, You go before me and You love me with all Your heart Romans 8:31 Remind my heart that You have written me on the palm of Your hand. Psalm 62:2 Remind me again that You are the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last.

It’s as if the sadness is stuck and has no way to escape. “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts. Then, when  I finally get out of the way,  I always find You  … and it is in You that I find the best version of me. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
