We had our last night of Awana tonight and the kids had a blast! We had a pizza party and ice cream sundaes to celebrate everyone's hard work. Both Emma-Lyn and Sean completed their books and won awards for that achievement

We have enjoyed some lovely spring like days and then some slightly stormy wintery kind of days. I will be happy once the weather decides it is completely done with winter!This weekend we went for a little trek to Georgetown with the kiddos

And to add to that everyone woke up with either a scratchy throat or a full on cold full of hacking coughs and sneezes. The kids did some homeschool and then we gathered our blankies and stuffies and cuddled in the back room to watch some Expedition Unknown. After lunch I pulled out the two new to us games I picked up yesterday to see if anyone was up for a little fun. The wind is still howling--here's hoping tomorrow is better both in health and weather!

It has certainly begun to feel like spring on the Island, although it does sound like we're in for some sloppy weather tomorrow. Sean and his friend Gabe are working on a project about Vietnam and we thought it would be great to try some authentic Vietnamese food. In the morning we went to Gabe's house and the boys worked on the project while the other kids played (my kids had finished their school work in the van) This was Sean's dish-Special PhoEmma-Lyn enjoyed using her chopsticks but wasn't a big fan of the sauce.
