Working at ABDA has proved to be a very positive journey for Operations Manager, Carlisle Hartley. Joining the team back in 2014, Carlisle has thoroughly developed her knowledge of the industry through this role which requires her to work alongside different departments every day to ensure that all projects run accordingly

The latest instalment in our ‘Meet the Team’ series comes from Designer, Paul Siebke, who has worked at ABDA for almost five years. Previously, Paul worked for Design Coalition on design concepts and national rollouts for some of the UK’s leading restaurant and bar brands, and has used his creative flair and experience on a number of design projects since joining ABDA

From visiting a museum gallery one day to a large office complex the next, Claire’s role takes her to some interesting places. Our photographer and I paid a visit to British Sugar, which was a recently completed project and also met with a new client to discuss an exciting new restaurant concept. Over the next few months, I will be working on the completion of a range of fantastic projects spread across different sectors, including the new kitchen at Kyubi for The Arts Club and a brand new staff restaurant for a large financial company. From creating innovative project concepts to keeping up with new trends and visiting exciting sites, Claire can provide valuable expertise on foodservice and interior design.

With 2018 drawing to a close, the ABDA Design team are looking back on a great year and are getting ready to wind down for the festive period. In the last 12 months our team have completed a run of successful projects, carrying out both interior and catering design work across a wide range of different sectors, including at The Arts Club, EMW Law and British Sugars new head office. . Our team now occupies the entire space of the Grade II listed building, with the operations department located in the original Baptist Chapel, while the design team are situated within the old Sunday School. Earlier this year, we said goodbye to our Commercial Director, Kevin Waterson, who retired after 30 years in the industry, 11 of which were spent with ABDA Design.
