Author, music lover, and Huffletuff. Mother, wife, and a die-hard hopeless romantic. Words are my mirror. Self-proclaimed Lost Girl. Cheese is the source of all magic.
The noise of the creaking stairs, the ones I had just crept up, sounded like it echoed in my ears. Jake didn't answer, but the footsteps had stopped from the moment I whispered. It sounded like something it couldn't be, but I didn't believe. The massive back deck was through the white French doors, facing the beach and open ocean.
If I thought I couldn’t wait to read this one, I 100% cannot wait to read book 3. Just absolutely love her writing, her characters, the romance, and her insanely amazing zombie world. Kate L. My new, fancy, head chef position at one of the most acclaimed restaurants in the city is not turning out like I’d hoped. And to make matters worse, my best friend's brother keeps popping up at all my worst moments to save the day. He’s made it clear what he thinks about my money and dream job and the designer shoes he saved last weekend. The story was absolutely fantastic, the characters are easily loveable, and if it is at all possible to gain weight just by salivating over all the amazing foods Higginson mentions in her story, I most likely achieved it.
