Have you ever felt like you just can’t catch a break? From my new car being hit while parked to having dental work that set me back over $2000, I felt like I couldn’t catch a break even if I tried. Despite my misfortunes, there were bright spots like my BFF throwing me surprise 47th birthday party. I would be lying if I said I hope things stay quiet for long time.
Fortunately the weather has started to clear so I can finally get back to posting regularly. Not only does Spring usher in long sunny days, it means new fashion trends. I love combining green with other bold colors such as yellow and pink. Wearing bright colors instantly lifts my mood, so this outfit definitely had me beaming.

As Valentine’s Day approaches, I am reminded of the power of love. While Valentine’s Day is typically set aside for the expression of romantic love, it has expanded to include all expressions of love
