But Newark Liberty has been my choice to fly in to New York City for years, primarily because I used to fly United a ton and EWR is United’s largest presence in the New York metro area. After deboarding, we reached the Terminal C AirTrain station at 6:13 pm and used the kiosk to buy two adult one-way NJ Transit tickets to New York Penn Station for a total of $26. The NJ Transit train stopped at Newark Penn Station, the Secaucus Transfer Station, and then its last stop was New York Penn Station (basically 34th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues). Our total cost for two adults from Newark Liberty International airport to Manhattan was $34.71 — $26 for train tickets + $8.71 for Via.

For a romantic seafood dinner along the Hip Strip, hit Marguerite’s, a longstanding MoBay favorite fronting Doctor’s Cave Beach where you can eat fresh Caribbean spiny lobster with the sound of the waves breaking just feet away. And the fact that the resort named the #1 Hotel in Hawaii on TripAdvisor in 2019 is adults-only makes it all the much more appropriate for a romantic couples trip.
In between the pricier full-service restaurants and Disneyland character dining, quick service dining locations fill you up fast on yummy quick meals and treats. Mobile Ordering $$ This Mexican-themed quick service location offers outdoor shaded patio seating in the Pacific Wharf area. There’s only one location at Disneyland to get an alcoholic drink (Oga’s Cantina inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge) and that’s for reservation only. You’ll find alcohol served inside Disney’s California Adventure park including all full service locations like Wine Country Trattoria.
