Sometimes, giving up is easy…but not for me! My dream is to own my own Mexican Restaurant someday. I am tenacious and spunky. To say that I am passionate about the food I cook is an understatement! The goal of my brand is to inspire others to follow their wildest dreams; I do it through food, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of people. I am a strong advocate for things that I enjoy and often find myself figuratively "selling" my favorites to others.
After 14 years of interpreting and working in Social Services, I realized that my true joy is made in the kitchen. As a woman in my 30s, when others are settling into their careers, I decided to jump wholeheartedly into making my dream a reality. I want to show the world that with food, as with life, no mistake is too big if you make the conscious decision to continue. To my surprise, what started as a pursuit of my own happiness has turned into messages of encouragement from strangers. I have heard from everyone from budding entrepreneurs to amazingly brave people in recovery. What a ride so far, and I am just getting started!
While my brand is small (but growing each day) I realize I might not be someone's top pick as an influencer, however, to stay true to myself and to TenazMex I have to try! In the spirit of the brand, continuing is a must. I am open to work with others who feel as fired up about food and people as I do. I can't wait to meet you!
