One dish that does it with ease is this Pork Chops and Brussels Sprouts with Zinfandel. I used rosemary to season the veggies with plus added a few sprigs for a little garnish. I used the brussels sprouts, mushrooms, carrots, and red onion. I’ve seen this dish made with apples too if you like that flavor with your pork chops.

Goat Cheese Frittata

The ingredients in this Goat Cheese Frittata pair seamlessly and will go with coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. This will cook on the stove top until the outside of the egg (around the rim of the cast iron skillet) start to turn light. Add the garlic for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute or until the edges start to lighten. Add the goat cheese crumbles on top and put into the oven Bake for 7-14 minute or until the egg is solid.

The Cottage Kitchen by Marte Marie Forsberg is probably my favorite cookbook of 2017! She also has a new book out this holiday season called Cook Like a Pro: Recipes and Tips for Home Cooks. I love Paris just as much as I love the English countryside so this book takes me back to Paris where I had the time of my life. The Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook is a classic and my dad’s favorite cookbook.
