In a statement dripping with hypocrisy and irony, the The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights took a shot at American border policies that have resulted in illegal immigrants and their children being separated. This is the same UN that has not only historically overlooked human rights violations by members of its own Security Council, but Al Hussein himself refused to condemn the terror attacks against Israel in Gaza just a few weeks ago. The UN doesn’t have much credibility on this issue, so the High Commissioner can spare us the sanctimonious finger wagging and hand wringing about how we police our own borders. As long as it allows countries like China, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia on its human rights council, the UN has ZERO credibility when it comes to human rights.
