They’re all interactive, there are rattles, crinkly toys, chewable toys and a mirror. As soon as I set the playmat up Henry was straight over, playing with the hanging toys, and his favourite aspect of it; the mirror. The toys can easily be removed, so you can attach them to a car seat or pushchair when you’re out and about. The playmat is nice and colourful but not too in your face, which I love as so many children toys are often so bright and garish!
We are huge Disney fans in this house, so when shopDisney offered the opportunity to create a little magic using some of their range, I jumped at the chance! He looks so adorable in his little Mickey Mouse jacket, which is perfect for spring as it’s really lightweight. They’re genuinely the first pair of baby shoes I’ve ever found that fit Henry’s round feet in, they’re adorable and perfect for him now he’s starting to cruise around the furniture. It’s really cute and was really good quality, plus I’m super impressed, they fit around Henry’s thighs and stayed poppered up all day!
He rarely bites, usually only if he’s really suffering with teething, but I can sometimes feel the sharpness of his teeth! He feeds anywhere between 3 and 6 times a day now (dependent on whether he’s under the weather or not) if he eats well at breakfast/lunch then he will usually only have a mid-morning and after lunch feed, occasionally a late afternoon one too! so I’m thinking Henry’s going to be walking a little sooner than his brother! He’s wearing a mix of 9-12 and 12-18 month clothing, still in size 5/5+ nappies and we still struggle with all-in-one outfits and poppers bursting open!
Growing up, I have always been so close to my little sister and I’m sure it’s down to our close age gap. Oliver can’t remember life without Henry, sometimes he might get jealous of Henry being held by someone and he might be a bit rough with him. He’s constantly trying to play with him (which Oliver does find annoying, especially with the train track, my husband calls Henry Godzilla! ) I love the madness that comes with a close age gap, because I know that madness will pay off once the boys are a little older.
