Summer is all about escaping the hustle bustle of the city for idyllic beach vacations to rest, reconnect & rejuvenate. And, we’re actually so blessed to have the best of both worlds… living in seaside towns in Florida during the cold winters & Massachusetts during summer. New Englanders have a ritual of heading to the sandy shores of Cape Cod or the quaint coastal towns on the North Shore to relax & unwind during the summer months. Now, I’m more inclined to want a sense of elegance & luxe with my summer beachwear & this sultry cover-up makes me feels feminine & super fancy.

Not sure if this is the case for you, but even though I try on shoes in the store, add one of my arch inserts if needed, walk as much as I can before purchasing, I’m still wary if they will stand the test of time. No offense towards Troentorp Clogs, but I was skeptical if these sandals would work for outdoor events we hosted throughout the summer. Obviously, you can see these Anna Clog sandals have great color & style, but surprisingly, the arch support was unbelievable which is almost rare when you think about the number of sandals out there are on the market. I typically beat myself up if I’m not working when my husband is working, or if I don’t accomplish a huge list of tasks each day. I think we are hard-wired to feel the need to work ourselves to the bone in order to reward ourselves with a night out, dinner with friends or a day of shopping. Our days are long, non-stop, quite chaotic & feel like we are always on a time crunch which leads to very little time for relaxation & reflection. We need to have greater awareness while completing a job & not just go through the physical motions ONLY for the sake of ticking a task off the “to-do” list.

Do you hold onto every little item that’s ever been given to you or item you purchased? Here’s my mindset: If I haven’t used it in 3 months, am I really going to use it 3 months from now?
