Oh Tiny Gifts

As we enter into a season of cooler weather for many, and especially here in Ohio, we spend more time in doors. We look forward to gatherings and meals inside cozy places as the weather outside may turn less inviting. A space that is both inviting physically, but also emotionally and spiritually. There are many times I just want it to be done and for us to be moved in, but I’ve also come to learn that the anticipation is often one of the most exciting parts of anything!

Intentional Health & Wellness//Giveaway!

If you haven’t already gotten the vibe from me that being intentional can be  hard…being intentional can be hard guys! But so worth it!  I’m reading The Road Back to You  and learning a lot about my personality type. I haven’t finished it yet, but I think I’m honing in on my Enneagram type

Intentional Social Media

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with social media. I love how it connects us! I love that I can stay up to date with what is happening in my friends lives

Intentional Mornings

Alongside the truth of how I intend to better my days and spend my time, (like the truth that I need to be dwelling in God’s word) there has to be the acceptance of grace that Jesus offers. On rough nights with kiddos, I say there’s most definitely room for grace, but I have recently been trying to throw more truth into my mornings. When we lived in Uganda I often got up as early as 4:30 or 5 because I knew this was the only time I would have to myself all day. Wake up between 6:00 and 6:30 Interchange between 20 minute YouTube workouts that involve some light strength training and holy yoga workouts Look at my planner for the day and quickly check if I need to respond to any FB messages or e-mails before kids get up Try to quickly get myself dressed and get Gracie going and ready for school.
