Highlights
Tommy x Zendaya at Nordstrom

When I heard the Tommy x Zendaya collaboration would be available at Nordstrom, I was really excited to be able to get my hands on some of the pieces. If you will recall, the Tommy x Zendaya show in Paris a few weeks ago was really groundbreaking on so many levels and was cast entirely with women of color including the legendary Grace Jones and Beverly Johnson. I couldn’t wait to see this Pinstripe Patent Denim Coat in person, and when it came in I immediately put it on with what I was wearing and went out to dinner in it. It’s the perfect weight for transitional winter to spring weather, and the patent gives an otherwise classic shape a really unique look.

Reebok Aztrek Sneakers

It comes at no surprise that I am an advocate for the white sneaker. I got them in all white because I really like the way neutrals can be paired with so many things, but they come in a ton of color combinations. I’ve been eager so wear them with feminine spring dresses and neutral oversized 90’s suits. I think there is something so fresh about an all beige or all grey suit co-ord, a white tee, gold hoops, and white sneakers.

Snakeskin for Spring

The idea of juxtapositioning a print that is often reserved for structured fabrics like leather with a lighter material is really refreshing. When I saw the snakeskin collection from Ann Taylor, I was so pleased that the pieces were etherial and wearable. I love a good snakeskin print and the pieces from the collection can be styled seamlessly into an everyday wardrobe. Seeing this print done for spring makes me excited for all of the unexpected combinations we’ll be seeing this season!

Refreshing my Spring Wardrobe with Everlane

A few months ago I finally joined the masses and read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying up. After weeks of trying things on, sorting, reorganizing, paring down, and repeating the process a few times, I have finally gotten my wardrobe to a place I am really happy with. I like that Everlane doesn’t get caught up in trends, they create timeless pieces that are designed to last. I wore my chinos with a white chore jacket, black turtleneck, the minimal day square tote, and the day boots (which I also own in black and really like).
