My ‘go to’ for those looking to get running motivation back is to have a run-related goal. We completed our first half marathon and I feel like I’ve been bitten by the race bug! I’m already set for local races in April and May and just found out about Disney’s Virtual Race Series of 5Ks happening in June through August! In the runDisney Virtual Race Series, participants receive a digital race bib (you can print and wear when you race or just have it as a memento) and a finisher certificate.

John and I used to watch the Tranformers cartoons as kids and it’s fun to see them as live action movies on the big screen now. The Disney Dreamers Academy is an intense four-day experience at Walt Disney World, in partnership with Steve Harvey and Essence magazine, for 100 chosen teens who apply. The entire Disney Dreamers Academy is designed to inspire the students to dream big. The students who already dreamed big enough to apply and be chosen, are encouraged to dream bigger, be better, try harder, do more, and expand their horizons. A student who comes to the Disney Dreamers Academy open, willing and ready, can leave with everything required to perform well and #be100 in college, an internship and in their future career.
