The MLC announced that around $425 million in unmatched royalty money was turned over. Plus, the MMA established a new blanket mechanical license available to eligible digital audio services that operate in the USA. The MLC will collect mechanical royalties from the digital services operating under the new blanket license and then distribute those royalties to rightsholders.
