On the kick-off episode we featured Garden School Foundation. Garden School foundation is a program that brings together kids in various communities to teach them where their food comes from, how to plant herbs and veggies, pick them and cook them! It also encourages kids to try new foods and open up their minds to healthy eating. The kids I met on this shoot warmed my heart and put a huge smile on my face.
My new series High Note, A Good News Show, is officially launching. I know in my heart there are wonderful people all around me that have dedicated their lives to making the world a better place. I want to re-affirm that the world is not actually a bad place, but a wonderful place filled with people who are incredible and have compassion! I KNOW hearing good news makes me happy and warms my heart
Because of my abundant experience with colds, coughs, congestion, barf, etc, I’ve found a few Sick Day Hacks that made me feel a little bit better. Something about making myself sweat bullets when I’m eating makes me feel like I’m killing my cold… 4) When it comes to sick day movies I’m a sucker for something super funny or super nostalgic. Robitussin makes a Children’s Cough and Cold with Honey as well.
Thank you to Lacey Stone and Modern Adventure for bringing this incredible group of women together to travel all the way to Greece. We ate, drank, laughed, cried, jumped off boats, snorkeled, danced, partied, and then repeated everything the next day for a week!
