I’ve always had a travel bucket list, but 2018 was the first year I shared it on the blog! ’s travel bucket list before I share what destinations made it on my list for 2019. I must admit that the city itself was a little underwhelming, but I had the best quality time with my friend and can’t wait to travel with her again in the new year. My weekend in Paris was already fully arranged when I published my 2018 travel wish list, so this one isn’t really a surprise.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my skinny jeans and fitted blazers, but they aren’t the most practical outfit choice if you want to hang on the couch and scroll through social media for half an hour, amirite? I find my home wear in many different places, but Hunkemoller is a recent favorite. They have a stunning collection with Doutzen Kroes at the moment, but also a wide variety of jammies and ready-to-wear pieces that are suitable for everyday wear as well. Their earliest fall pieces are their absolute best and by shopping my sweaters while it wasn’t exactly sweater weather just yet, I always managed to find the ones I wanted still available in my my size. Although H&M has some pretty mean knitwear this year too, I have a new one-stop shop for all of mine: COS. COS is the more mature sister of H&M (it’s part of the same retail company) and is mostly known for its minimalist designs. The lush green cardigan I’m wearing in today’s outfit was a transitional piece I bought from COS late last winter. It’s basically your average cardigan, but with some lovely design details – where COS is famous for – such as the pleat on the back and the monochrome buttons.

Now, you all know that I don’t wear make-up and the fanciest thing I’ve ever done with my hair on the blog was this. If that doesn’t prove enough that God wasn’t handing out the ability to be a hair magician on April 24th 1992, than you might want to take a look at this hairdo too. My updo lead to a romantic moment with my boyfriend afterwards when he had to help me pick the 1702548 bobby pins out of my hair, haha! I couldn’t stop staring at my face and I would have touched it too – just to check – if we didn’t have to take photos of the finished look.
