This month’s calendars were inspired by some linear artwork I created using my iPad pro on the long plane ride from London last week. The simplest way to set a picture as the desktop wallpaper is to open it so that you can see the image, and then right-click it to choose Set as desktop background. You also see this option when you right-click the picture file in Windows Explorer; you don’t even have to open the picture to set it as the desktop background. Desktop & Screen Saver preferences window To add a folder of your own images, click the Add button below the list of folders.

Plug in your hot glue gun and gather your supplies: Take your lid and hot glue a palm tree and flamingo to it. Add a small amount of glitter in your chosen color—a little glitter goes a long way. I really like the way gold glitter looks, but you can use any color you’d like. And if you’re feeling extra  festive, go ahead and hot glue some embellishments on the base.
