You set a goal, write it down, get excited about it, take action for a few days or weeks, then 3 months goes by and before you know it you find the old crumpled up piece of paper you wrote your goal down on It’s Monday, the first few days go well but by Friday distractions come up, intentions fall to the wayside, and before you know it you’ve completely gone off course by Sunday and you’re starting again on Monday. You should have a big picture plan that is like a roadmap to your goal and then create mini plans week by week to keep you on track. So instead of saying “I want to get fit”, you’d say, “I am working towards my fitness goal by working out 3 times per week
I truly believe that you should design your space into something that brings you joy, and for me, joy meant finding a new dream couch and making my space girly, cute, fun, and creatively inspiring! So when I was looking for my new couch I knew almost immediately I wanted a Joybird couch and to put the cherry on top It’s the perfect pink, not too loud, fun, and the material is so soft and comfortable and most importantly the Lewis Sectional from Joybird brings me so much joy. Once, I got to my new apartment, I was worried that the couch wouldn’t fit but it fit like a dream and now my space feels just like me, girly, cute, comfy, chic, and a little fun!
Today I wanted to share a few life hacks I incorporate when I feel like I just don’t have the time or energy to stay healthy and active! When there just isn’t enough time to cook all of your meals or if cooking just isn’t your thing I realized there are other people out there who will cook for you and love doing it! This is something that I really try to do in times like this in my life where I feel the push and pull so much because I know I need time for myself in order to stay sane. Do you drop all of your healthy habits during that time or do you incorporate your own healthy life hacks?
The Fairmont Mayakoba completely spoiled us with a delicious spread so we could try several appetizers, entrees, and desserts, all of which were not only healthy but delicious. Shortly after breakfast, we made our way down to the beach to learn about the Coral Reef Restoration program they have at the Fairmont Mayakoba. After we were beached out and burnt we got back on the bikes and made our way back to the main part of the property and then decided to explore the property more with the bikes and shoot some more pictures! My stay at the Fairmont Mayakoba was truly an incredible 5-star experience and I couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a wellness destination that has it all!
