Adventures in Mammoth

Before I start, I need to say THANK YOU all so much for your kind, loving words after my last post. We grabbed coffee and went on a beach walk which turned into an instant friendship and plans for a Mammoth trip. We had two full days of hiking, tasting beer, eating delicious food and getting that good ol’ mountain sleep. I feel like I’ve done a pretty damn stellar job of getting my nature fix the last several months, and now it’s time to kick my feet up and just BE.

Solitude + Feeling It All

And I don’t mean just some alone time at home reading a book. I felt fiercely protected – by what, I don’t really know. The stars got brighter every time I opened my eyes and I couldn’t help but smile at the magnificence of it all. It was the happiest and most alive I’d felt in such a long time.
